Welcome to the studio of principal product designer, Zander Brade.
I partner with early-stage and established tech companies to design high-growth products.
Working directly alongside founders and their product teams, I help companies scale by making sense of their customers, the most urgent problems that they have, and how to go about solving them.
Companies I work with—
Understand the value that great design brings to their product and company
Move quickly and prioritise learning
Put customers at the centre of their decision-making, and use feedback and testing to develop their thinking
Have massive ambitions while taking things one day at a time.
I'm currently accepting new projects for 2024. Depending on the stage your company is at and where you need design impact, there's flex to get the support you need:
A traditional contract relationship for companies that need long-term design support, whether as a solo designer or in your wider product team.
A direct line for feedback and strategy discussions throughout the month, plus two days of full design support. Scaled as needed.
Priced per project
Need a designer, or even full-stack product team, to build out a new initiative? Lean on my network of designers, engineers, and top-tier product people to execute.
Curious if we're a fit?
Nice to meet you—
I'm Zander, a London-based designer with thirteen years experience scaling companies through design.
Part of the early team at Monzo, I helped lay the foundations for design in the company as we grew from 4.5k → 4.5M customers. Prior to that, I worked at Microsoft via way of the much-loved productivity app, Wunderlist.
In 2020, I set up my studio with a focus on helping founders of early-stage startups bring their products to market.
I've had the pleasure of working with great companies in Europe and the U.S., in industries from health-tech, to financial crime prevention, from design tooling to grocery shopping, a bit of crypto and a bit of AI, a bit of this, and naturally, a bit of that.
I split my time between North London and the Cambridgeshire countryside, cooking, gardening, and chasing an obstinate dachshund around.
